> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://hub.stackone.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Workable Application Custom Fields > To create and view application custom fields in Workable, follow these steps This guidance assumes that you have admin privileges for your Workable account. ## Create a Workable Application Custom Field Click on the profile icon Navigate to settings Search Create Custom Object Search Create Custom Object Find or Create a section where you want the custom field created. Search Create Custom Object Hover over the desired section and click on the `+` icon to add a new custom field Search Create Custom Object 1. Enter a `Custom field title` 2. Select the appropriate `Field type` 3. Set the `Provider` to `User` 4. Click `Add Custom field` The Provider field must be set to User to be able to edit the field via API Search Create Custom Object Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes Search Create Custom Object A success message shown after the custom field is created Search Create Custom Object You can preview where this sits on the candiate profile by Clicking the `Preview` button.
