How to connect BambooHR via the StackOne Hub

If you've been directed to StackOne to integrate with BambooHR, the following steps will help you understand the process and any necessary actions to configure successful integration.

This guidance assumes you have Admin privileges for your BambooHR account.

Step 1: Getting your Company Domain

  1. Sign in to your BambooHR instance and take note of your company domain as the URL's prefix. In the example below, the Company Domain is stackonetest

Step 2: Generating your API Key

  1. On the Home page, click on your Account avatar and select API Keys.

  2. Click Add New Key.

  3. Enter a name for the API key.

  4. Click Generate Key.

  5. Click COPY KEY to copy the key to your clipboard (and then click Done).

Step 3: Connecting to StackOne

Upon reaching the Link Account page, enter the API Key and Company Domain details and proceed by clicking the Connect button.

OpenID SSO Authentication

BambooHR provides Client ID and Client Secret additional details for successful integration. Refer to Single Sign-On (SSO) with OpenID Connect Bamboo doc for more information.

For SSO authentication, StackOne Hub requires specifying only your Company Domain from step 1.
