If you've been directed to StackOne to integrate with Notion, the following steps will help you understand the process and any necessary actions to configure a successful integration.

## Log in to Notion

**1. Connect to Notion**

Click the Connect button to start the login process.

## Available data

This integration has the following [DOCUMENTS Resources](https://docs.stackone.com/reference/getting-started-with-your-api) available from the provider:

<ul>
  <li>Drives</li>
  <li>Files</li>
  <li>Folders</li>
</ul>

## Known limitations

### Listing files and folders

* **Nested listings of large page trees can take several minutes.** With `nested_items=true`, StackOne reads every page and block in the tree, and Notion allows about three requests per second per integration. Send `Prefer: heartbeat` so a listing that runs longer than about a minute doesn't time out.

### Downloading pages

These apply when you download a Notion page with `GET /unified/documents/files/{id}/download`.

* **Downloads are always HTML.** StackOne builds an HTML page from the page's blocks. The `format` and `export_format` parameters have no effect.
* **Sub-pages and inline databases show as links.** Each sub-page is a separate file. Download it on its own to get its content.
* **Blocks whose content Notion's API doesn't return are left out.** Notion reports some block types, such as forms and buttons, as `unsupported` and returns no content for them.
* **Some pages can't be downloaded.** Notion's API can't read every page type. When Notion rejects a page, for example one of type `external_object_instance_page`, the download returns an error.
* **Meeting notes include the summary and the notes, not the transcript.**
* **Long pages take longer.** Nested content needs one Notion request per block, and Notion allows about three requests per second per integration. A long page with many nested blocks can take a minute or more.
* **Very large pages are cut off at about 5,000 blocks** at a single level of nesting.
